Hello Kiddies, here's a quicky to wet your throats. This week its back to business for the johns. Rehearsal was amazing and the boys are excited about the new song they are creating. Lead guitarist, Javier, was at a bar last night and got into a heated debate on poverty with a complete idiot, and then slapped the idiot for being such an idiot. Thats about it.

Music Video Success!

We Came. We Saw. We shot the best fucking Music Video EVER! Many thanks to all parties involved, especially Aaron Brookner whose creative vision brought this project to life, and also to Matyas the cinematographer, who, despite being foreign, is a total fucking maniac, and a genius and we love it. the johns would like to proffer, our deep and lasting friendship. Your poise, your grace, and that ethereal, unnameable quality of you, gives us the utmost pleasure, and ongoing delight of contemplation. If you are not already currently indisposed this weekend (subpoenas, indictments, or some other meddlesome nuisance), we cordially invite you to appear as an extra in our music video. We realize it is difficult to break previous commitments on such sort notice, but we believe you have what it takes to be a big star. We can't explicitly guarantee face-time of any significant length, even to a face as lovely as yours. However, we would be most delighted for you to accept. Please, do invite any of your friends who may be available at the moment, the higher profile, the better.

We Are Go For Video

Hello Kiddies, just a quick update to wet your throats. The johns are preparing to shoot the music video. We have the director. We have the camera. We have the Bavarian cinematographer. We have a hoard of hot, young, kiddies ready to party, but we're still accepting applications. So, if you think you may be cut out to party with us and hot enough to be in our video, please send a photo and reason why we should pick you to info@thejohnsnyc.com. Please, only contact us if you are older than 18 (but not too much older, obviously).

205 Aftermath

the johns would like to thank everyone in attendance at the final performance of the johns 2008 winter tour. One of nameless throng of johns worshipers had this to say, "the sound was amazing and the show was full of surprises." Indeed, highlights of the performance included lead vocalist, johnny p, jumping up on the bar to better hose down the crowd with his power, and showering the entire stage in baby powder. As usual someone in the crowd decided to spit beer all over the stage, I think the guys were getting a little hot. If you missed the performance live, you will get a chance to see the performance when it is streamed into the virtual world. Unfortunately, the johns will still never forgive you for not being there. Sorry.

After the show the johns retired to the Chelsea loft that will serve as the set of their upcoming music video shoot. The video is scheduled to be filmed later this month by friends of the johns, Aaron, Chris, and some mysterious Bavarian cinematographer. While at the after-party the johns managed to lock themselves out of the main elevator and spent the evening getting drunk and taking the doors off the hinges. Highlights of the after-party included a wasted, tall girl straddling a South-African. When asked where they met South-African replied, "Namibia." When asked what they were doing in Namibia, wasted, tall girl replied, "making out." Sounds awesome.
